Welcome to Aoi Garden Home!

Experience the beauty and adventure of Chiang Mai while using our cozy garden hostel as your home base. Our private hostel is located in the northern center of Chiang Mai’s old city - close enough to walk to popular tourist spots, but removed enough to enjoy time with other travellers in a peaceful green setting. We’re near all of the must-see attractions like the Three Kings Monument, the North Gate Jazz Co-op, the weekend walking streets and the famous North Gate food market.

Our two-story guest houses are built in the traditional Thai style from teak wood and nestled amongst our constantly maintained garden. *Please read about all 4 of our room options below to make sure you book the right one!

In addition to providing free wifi, tour information, city maps and a cozy home, we also love to hang around the garden chatting about Thai food, Buddhism, meditation and the other great things that Thailand has to offer. How we work hard to make your stay amazing:

Green and Clean

We pride ourselves on maintaining a beautiful garden of plants, fountains and flowers, but we spend just as much time tending to our hostel. Keeping every room and bathroom clean, fresh and safe is our number one priority so you can feel comfortable during your visit.

The Adventure Experts

Together, our staff has decades of experience in leading treks and guiding tours around Northern Thailand. We’re here to help you in any way possible to book the most affordable and well-organized adventures. The options are endless, but trekking, cooking courses, zip-lining and elephant training are the most popular among our guests. If you have something different or unique in mind, we can help you organize that as well.

We have trusted relationships with specific tour companies to guarantee you a high quality experience at a fair cost. If you are on a budget, we can also suggest many activities around the city that are low-cost or free. Booking tours before arriving is not necessary - just make your way to our garden home, tell us what you have in mind, and we’ll take care of coordinating the plans so you don’t have to worry.

For help with transportation, you can keep it easy and rent bicycles or a motorbike directly from our hostel. If you choose to use a taxi we have a free call-service to help organize the most fairly priced taxis and tuk-tuks in Chiang Mai.

Sit Back and Relax

We provide breakfast service and a variety of beverages so you can start your day off right. Healthy local options as well as traditional western breakfast choices and smoothies are available. We do not provide lunch or dinner options because we want to encourage our guests to go out and explore with local food.

Our bar is also open every day from 7.00 am to midnight so you can unwind after that long trek!

BASIC INFORMATION:

Check-out: 11.00 am

Check-in: 12.00 pm

Please respect these times and bring your key and towel when checking out. Thank you!

Outside Guest Policy:

Bringing strangers into our hostel after midnight is forbidden. Also, please do not get into bed with another guest when staying in a mixed dorm. It makes other guests uncomfortable and is not fair to them. For your safety, we have closed circuit cameras in all public areas. If you do not follow these rules, you will lose your reservation without a refund.

Please use respect and common sense during your stay. Thank you!
