The Homey Hostel is ideally located in the most central area of Taipei, within 10- min commuting time to all major attractions, and interesting spots of Taipei, with a convenient transport network at your door.

'Tonghua Street' close to the most famous building 'Taipei 101' as it is in Taipei city center, therefore, you'll find it easy to get transportation from anywhere in the city.
We're in a alley opposites a 7-11 convenient store, 5 mins away from the metro station.

60 min. CitiAir Bus 2060 and get off at Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, follow the detail map shown below to walk to Homey - NT145

-From Metro Liuzhangli
5 min. Walk- 'Liuzhangli' Station only has one exit. Come out from the exit you'll see a traffic circle. Plz turn right, walking across He-Pin E. Rd, ChongDe St, and Jeelung Rd. until you get Leli Rd (basicly you're walking along the circle). Turn into Leli Rd and keep walking straight, about 3 minutes turn right to Tonghua St. and keep walking straight.After a turn there is a 7-11 store with parking lot at your right-hand side. Then Lane 180, Tonghua Street is just across the 7-11.

The location was great as it was just a few minutes away from the Metro, the owner of Homey Hostel was friendly and made it known to us that, he was just a phone call away with the phone provided in the hostel (once you pick up the phone, it will call him right away).
Also, he recommended a few great places to go to and in terms of where to buy Taiwanese pastries and goodies.
WiFi access was great, cable TV, Xbox to play games, a kitchen with microwave, refrigerator water boiler and beverages were all provided. The air-conditioner in the room was working well, beds were comfortable and bed lamps were great when you needed a place to look at your maps to do some late night planning for the next days' itinery while respecting the other guests sleeping in the room.
Definitely a value for money, breakfast shops aplenty and no worries about feeling hungry in the middle of the night as the 7-Eleven store is a stones throw away (walking there takes less than 3 minutes).
If i were to come back for a free and easy time again in Taipei, I wouldn't hesitate to return to Homey Hostel to spend my nights there again.

The place is hard to find and not in a desirable area. There is a lack of sign for the hostel. No towels provided, which is very inconvenient. All other hostels in Taiwan that I stayed had towel provided and at a much lower rate. I will not be staying there again.
