We are a small cosy hostel in the heart of the city: just 2 minutes walk from Nyugati Railway Station. It is a great location for visiting the main attractions of Budapest. We are nestled in a historic building that faces a street lined with the picturesque sycamore trees of downtown Budapest. Less than a stone's throw away you will find restaurants, cafes and shops, tea houses, clubs, theatres, and much more. Everything is within walking distance.

Our friendly English speaking staff will provide you with complimentary TEA and COFFEE, local information, FREE INTERNET ALL DAY, and will help you organize your stay in Budapest. We offer two privat rooms and comfortable beds in two spacious 4 bed dorms, homey atmosphere and NO BUNK BEDS. If you fancy cooking for yourself then feel free to use our WELL EQUIPPED SELF-CATERING KITCHEN. Come stay with us and enjoy our warm hospitality. We hope to see you soon !

Directions

From NYUGATI railway station:
Exit the station by the main entrance, turn left (you will pass the Mc Donald's) at the first corner. You will find Podmaniczky utca, turn right, we are number 19. Look for the bell labeled 'ART'.

From KELETI railway station:
Exit the station by the main entrance. On the right side is the Mc Donald's where the stop for the #73 trolley bus is. (Be sure that you get on a red electric bus, that is the trolley bus!) Take that and get of at the 8th stop, 'Terez krt'. You are on Podmanicky utca now we are number 19. Look for the bell labeled 'ART'. (The #73 trolley bus goes until 9pm
After 9pm you can take the red line metro (M2) in direction of 'Deli pu.' Get of at the next stop 'Blaha Lujza ter'. Take #4 or #6 tram in direction of 'Moszkva ter.' Get of at the 4th stop 'Nyugati pu.' Walk backwards and you will find Podmaniczky utca, turn right we are number 19.
Look for the bell labeled 'ART'


From the International Bus Station 'Népliget':
Take the blue metro line (M3) in direction of 'Ujpest Kozpont' and get off at 'Nyugati ter.' Walk about 200m on the city ring road (Terez krt.) and you will find Podmaniczky utca; turn right, we are number 19.
Look the bell labeled 'ART'.

From the Ferihegy Airport Terminal 1:
You can take a DIRECT TRAIN to NYUGATI railway station. From the station 2 minutes walk.

From the Ferihegy Airport Terminal 2:
You can take the Airport Minibus; the fee is 2.300 forint per passengers. If you are 3 persons or more it's more cost effective to take a taxi. By public transportation, take the bus 200 to the end (Kobanya-Kispest) which is also last stop of the metro (M3). Take this metro line and get off at the 'Nyugati tér.' From NYUGATI TÉR the direction is the same than from NYUGATI railway station.
