Jimmy gives you a map and introduction to B'pest, which is very useful if it's your first time there (it was ours). the accomodation is conveniently situated near to Nyugati train station, opposite which are markets, Kaiser's department store and Spar supermarket, also the metro and trolley bus stops.

We at the August have tried to create the perfect balance between just the basic budget traveler's needs and accommodations of extreme comfort and privacy.
We believe that every traveler deserves a good nights sleep. At the August we will show you where to go and have a great time and when you are ready a quiet enviroment will be waiting for you to chill out and snooze in.
For the laid back budget traveler who wants a cozy, quiet and friendly place the August Hostel invites you to come visit us and enjoy Budapest to your hearts desire. Every guest is treated to an endless supply of coffee or tea. We have no hidden charges. And we truely will try to help you satisfactorily fullfill all your travel expectations while you are staying with us.
We have 2 different catagories of accommodations to choose from: Our 4-bed dorm rooms ensure small parties have the comfort they deserve; Our double-occupancy rooms are huge, private and everything a pair of travelers would expect, to make their visit to our City magical.
Wherever life takes you, we hope that you get there safetly and you have the best time ever.

Directions
Coming from the Airport :
Take the 200 bus to the last station and then transfer to the Blue Metro. Get off at Deak ter, switch to the orange/yellow metro in the direction of Mexiko ut. After four stops get off at the Vorosmarty utca, ( Vorosmarty UTCA, NOT Vorosmarty TER ) The hostel is at Vorosmarty utca number 46. Press 8 at the door.
Coming from the Keleti Train Station : Go downstairs take the M2 Red line Metro to Deak Ter. Then take the M1 orange/Yellow Metro line to Vorosmarty Utca ( Not Vorosmarty Ter). Cross the street and follow the even numbers. The hostel is at Vorosmarty utca number 46. Press 8 at the door. After Midnight it is wisest to take a cab. (Do not pay more that 2500 Huf for the ride.)
Coming from the Nyugati train station simply stroll up Terez Korut until Oktogon (On your left as you exit the train station). Take another left at the next main street of Andrassy, 3 blocks to Vorosmarty take one more left and look up for #46. press 8 at the door.

WARNING !! MAKE SURE YOU STAMP AND VALIDATE A NEW METRO TICKET FOR EVERY DIFFERENT COLOR LINE YOU TAKE, THE METRO CONTROLERS TARGET ALL TOURISTS!!!
One more WARNING !! DO NOT EXCHANGE MORE THAN A FEW BUCKS AT THE TRAIN STATION. THEY CLAIM THAT THEY CHARGE NO COMMISSION BUT IN REALITY THEY TAKE 25% !!!
