The Lazy Shark's hostel is a 16 bed facility situated above the charming bar / restaurant, which provides breakfast and meals on request. Accommodation is clean and basic, with a small team of friendly staff on hand downstairs. Newly redecorated and refurbished in December 2011!

We provide a basic hostel / backpackers service, with a sixteen bed capacity spread across two dormitories ( one of 10 and one of 6).

There are shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, and a common room with TV.

Beds can be booked singly, or rooms booked en bloc.

Clean bedlinen is provided, and towels can be hired at a small cost.

Check -in can be up to 11.00pm. There is all - night, 24 hour access once checked in.

One dormitory of 10 bunks and one of 6 bunks. There is a shared bathroom with shower and a fully fitted kitchen. The accommodation is unapologetically basic but clean and secure.

By car: From Bournemouth take Christchurch Road towards Christchurch. From Christchurch, take Christchurch Road towards Bournemouth. The Bar / Restaurant / Hostel is on the main road just to the east of the pedestrianised area at central Boscombe. Car parking is available to the rear via Haviland road. Take a right turn down thepassage by the dance school.

By rail: Pokesdown station is on Christchurch Road. Turn right out of the station and walk towards Boscombe cetre. We are on the right just before the pedestrianised road.

From Bournemoth rail station, take any bus to 'the square' (a short hop) and then a 1a, 1b or 1c to Boscombe. We are right outside the stop after Boscombe bus station.
