In our hostel/Guest house Glide you can have your restful time in comfortable private rooms with their own bathrooms and shared rooms with shared bathrooms. Here you’ll meet a pleasant and hospitable staff and you can ask them anything you like and communicate with them in English, Russian and French. Also we can provide you with tasty Armenian dishes and drinks.

People who like extreme sports we’ll be very pleased. As it is seen from our hostel’s name “Glide Hostel”, our staff is deeply attached to one of the most amazing extreme sports of the world – paragliding. Armen, one of our staff member is the leading paraglider of Armenia. He can organise your travelling in Armenia. The tours can include extreme such as paragliding, climbing mountains, skiing, trips in to caves, etc. or hiking, offroading, walking tours in Yerevan, visiting sightseeing places, etc."

Hostel/Guest house "Glide" has 2 private rooms with their own bathrooms, and 2 shared rooms with shared bathroom. All the rooms have air-conditioning and 24 hour heating system,WiFi access. All the bathrooms have 24 hour hot/cold water.

The private rooms are double/twin.(1-2 persons)

One of the shared rooms has 3 double-decked beds (6 persons)

The other one has 2 double-decked beds (an extra bed is available, 4-5 persons).

The linen is provided.

For the groups of 4 or more people staying more than 3 days the laundry, renting of the iron, hair drier will be free, airport pick-up will be available for 50% discount, once a week you'll be served Armenian national dishes for a lunch or dinner (at your choice).

For the groups of more than 7 people the airport pick-up will be free. Walking tours around the city will be free.

Hostel/Guest House Glide is a 3 minute-walk from the metro station Barekamutyun, 20 minutes driving from Zvartnots airport (approx. 15km) and is close to the bus stations.

Metro ticket is $0.14US (50 AMD).

Bus ticket is $0.28US (100AMD).

Taxis take $0.28-0.33US (100-120AMD) per kilometer.

If you take a taxi, you can ask a driver to take you to the Square Barekamutyun or Blur, the hostel is near Mergelyan Institute garages. The address is Galents. Str. , house 16/1, silver color gates.

If you go by metro

a) Go to the last metro station Barekamutyun

b) Make a right turn upon exiting metro into underground market

c) Keep walking the circular underground market (you will pass 2 exits on right) until you come to the third exit on your right sight.

d) The exit stair will come to a fork. Take the right stair and go up that street about 40 meters (Hakobyan street)

e) Turn left on the first alley and keep going up the alley until you see Hostel on the right side with 3 trees in front of the house. Push silver color gate open arm in. And here we are! Welcome to our hostel/guest house “Glide”.

If you take a bus, you should go to the Square Barekamutyun, find Hakobyan street. If you go up Hakobyan street, you can find the directions as it’s described above in the point (e). If you go down Hakobyan street you should turn to right as soon as you get to the last alley and use the information given in the point (e)."
