About Hillside B&B
Hillside B&B is a lovely bungalow located in a quiet street just outside Shannon Town off N19, only 2kms from Shannon Airport. It is an award winning B&B. Hillside B&B is the last place to stay when leaving Ireland from Shannon Airport and an ideal place to rest before you board your plane or to relax after a flight. Angela will welcome you to her family home with great warmth and hospitality, she is happy to provide her guests with excellent information about the area. Over the years we have welcomed people from around the world, many of which have come to stay with us again. Hillside B&B offers tea & coffee making facilities, cable TV and tourist information in all guest bedrooms and a good breakfast menu. You are guaranteed to receive a warm welcome at Hillside B&B. Children are welcome!Check in is between 4 pm and 6 pm. If you will be arriving outside these hours, please confirm your arrival time over the telephone. Check out is by 11 am. Credit cards are not accepted, payment is required in cash. Breakfast is included in the price. Cancellation policy is 48hrs.

Hi, we stayed at Hillside 18th of Sep 2011 because we had to stay in Shannon one night before meeting relatibes to go to Kerry. The reason i chose Hillside was because it is near the airport and it seemed to be highly rated online for friendliness. The house is modern and although outside ant town, is not too far from bus srops to Limerick which is busier. The house is very clean and well cared for and Angela, the landlady (is thay the right word?) Cares about her guests so offered us a lift to shops and even Bunratty Castle. We declined the former and accepted the latter - Angela recommended it and it was brilliant, especially for my teenager but also for anyone - loads to see from dungeons to red deer, from authentic old Irish cottages to pigs and Irish wilfhounds. Angela offersva big choice for breakfast which covers most tastes and althovsmall, the room was cosy and with an ensuite shower and bathroom next door. A nice bade to go out from or somewhete to stay near the airport. Ireland is expensive nowadays so 60 euros for a double bed and good breakfast is average price i imagine.
