Before my stay, I read about the domesticity of Mandala Hostel and that's why I chose this place. Well, I wasn't dissapointed there, it realy feels at home. All I forgot was that it also means you kind of "live together" with people who have very different lifestyles. Some go to bed and get up early (like me :) ), some prefer some nightlife and stay in bed till noon :)... Don't get me wrong, I loved my stay there. I only was a bit embarrased to get up so early while everybody (yes, I really believe everybody) was still in bed .... So I tried to be very silent which was difficult because of the beautifull wooden floor that cracked. Then I made coffee, but felt a bit sorry that I couldn't make it for my co-stayers because I assumed they would be in bed for some more hours.... So finally I hurried outside to let them sleep ... Of course, you're on a holliday and not there for cocooning at the Mandala :) but the place is sooooooo domestic, cosy and relaxed that it makes you wonna !!!!! I felt really at ease, the interior is very pretty and clean, the accomodation very practical, people very friendly. So I definately would do it over again, but than knowing how very very pleasant my stay would be and still foresee some extra nights to include cocooning and socializing !!!!
