About Univa Hostel

Our hostel, situated in one of the nicest parts of the Hungarian capital, Budapest, awaits its guests from the beginning of July until the end of August. We have single, double and three-bedded rooms, as well as a restaurant and bar where we ensure you relaxation. We are reasonably priced and in a great location to explore the city!

Nearby the hostel, which operates as a university hostel during the rest of the year, you can find the famous Heroes' Square (Hősök Tere), the City Park (Városliget) with the Zoo (Állatkert), the Fun Fair (Vidámpark), the Széchenyi bath (Széchenyi-fürdő) and several museums (Museum of Transportation – Közlekedési Múzeum, Museum of Fine Arts – Szépművészeti Múzeum, Art Hall – Műcsarnok).

You can reach the centre by a pleasant 20-30-minute walk, which shortens to 10 minutes if using public transport. Keleti Pályaudvar (Eastern Railway Station), where international trains arrive and depart, too, can be found some hundred meters from the hostel.

From the international railway station (Keleti pályaudvar)
Take bus No 7 or 73 (NOT the red-signed ones!). Get off at the third stop (Stefánia út).

From the airport:
Take bus No. 200. Go as far as the underground station Kőbánya-Kispest.
Take the underground. Get off at the station
Deak tér. Take underground No. 2. as far as the station Keleti pályaudvar. From there
take bus No 7 or 73, go three stops, then walk.

From the railway station Nyugati pályaudvar
Take tram No 6 or 4. Get off at Blaha Lujza square (four stops from the station). Take bus No 7 or 73 (NOT the red-signed ones!). Get off at the fifth stop (Stefánia út).

From the railway station Déli pályaudvar
Take the metro. Go as far as the station Keleti pályaudvar . There take bus No 7 or 73 (NOT the red-signed ones!). Get off at the third stop (Stefánia út).

From the international coach station (Népliget)

Take tram No 1 or No 1a. Go 8 stops. Take trolleybus No 74 and go one stop.
