About HI Munich North-Dachau

The Dachau Youth Guest House is a modern building opend in 1998, and is characterised by capacious architecture and a sense of space. Large areas of glazing, wood and concrete contribue to the spacious feel, with the exterior and letting in plenty of light along with the glazed roof of the spacious entrance hall.

Thanks to this quiet location and good travel connections to Munich the hostel is very popular with foreign guests wanting to visit the Concentration Camp Memorial Site and take trips to Munich.

The hostel is located 20km from Munich (20 min by S-Bahn train) between the old town of Dachau and the concentration camp memorial, both within easy reach, either walking or by local transport.

Conditions

Important: For a stay with us a Hostelling International Membership is required. International guests without membership pay a surcharge of 3,10 Euro per night for the first 6 nights to obtain a full membership for the use of more than 4.500 Youth Hostels worldwide. German residents aged 26 or younger can become a member of the German Youth Hostel Association for 12,50 Euro per year, older guests and families pay 21,00 Euro per year upon arrival.
Prices apply to guests aged 26 or younger. Older guests pay a surcharge of 4,00 Euro per person and night. All prices include breakfast and sheets.
Alternatively, a Guest Card with immediate international validity can be obtained at 15,50 €.
