Flip Flop Hostel (FFH@Main Station) is located only 5 minutes away from the heart of Taipei, the Taipei Main Station, where there are many bustling shops and stores of all kinds. Just an easy direct bus from the Taiwan Tao-Yuan International Airport, Flip Flop Hostel is easily accessible and it is centralized location makes it easy to explore other parts of Taipei or Taiwan via nearby metro, train or bus.
Flip Flop Hostel is already one of the most popular within Taipei given its location, safety, size, cleanliness and comfort and most importantly, its friendly staff who make it their personal job to ensure that you enjoy your stay.
All of our rooms are equipped with FREE Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, cooling fans and lockers in the dorm rooms.

House-Cleaning in exchange for free accommodation -
We are looking for someone to join our fun team and to help clean our Hostel 6 mornings per week in exchange for free accommodation in our dorm. We also offer free Internet and a weekly laundry allowance. We prefer someone who can stay for at least 3 weeks. If you're interested please e-mail us or call to tell us all about yourself. (Please note: we highly value cleanliness in the Hostel)

90% of staff there were very friendly and helpful and easy to get along with, especial a young girl with long hair. Just one of them wasn't so helpful and let us felt quite passive. Overall is very clean and comfortable place to stay. i was stay one night only April 30.

Highly recommend this place. Very near to Taipei main station, Peace park and Chiang Kai Sek memorial. A lot of nice food places. The owners are friendly and helpful. I stayed in a mixed 6-beded room. It has a small bed-side lamp even for the top bunk! A nice place to meet other people as well.

My friends and I were having trouble trying to find accommodations in a fairly short notice so due to some changes, we ended up booking one night here. I have to say that I wouldn't mind staying with them again, though we stayed in a mixed, 6-bedroom dorm with two other guys. Every floor is decorated well with common areas and it was all well thought-out. Our room itself was made of 4 bunk beds but it was all personalised. Each bed had a letter that correlated with a locker as well as hangers, outlet, and a reading light. The staff was really friendly and helpful and everything was clean. Even the shared bathrooms were clean.
It was in a commercial area with an Internet cafe across the alley, Mos Burgers around the corner, and even a karaoke place a short walk away. I really have no need to mention the convenience stores and the Main Station. I definitely recommend them!

Definitely a fabulous place to stay in Taipei!
The location was super convenient (few minutes walk to and from the airport limousine bus stop, also very easy to get to places that I wanted to visit such as Ximen, Shida Lu and Dihua Jie), the staff Linn-san was very friendly and helpful, the room and facilities were clean and met our needs just exactly. Also interior was very nicely done -- simple yet lively!
I also liked the kitchen and the large living-room with a huge window on 2F -- so comfy and super clean.

5mins from Taipei station.
7mins to the bus station to go to Airport etc.
