The location of this hotel was perfect! In the middle of the old centre and close to the shops and harbour. The hotel looks lovely and the room we had was decent and clean.
It was a bit of a letdown no one was in the office for any questions or information in the evening.

Guesthouse Isafold. Barugata 11 has 12 rooms.

6 rooms available with shared bathroom and 5 rooms with private bathroom (3 of which, although private, are located in the hall).

We have one of the best locations in town, only 4 minutes walk from the center of Reykjavik, to all you need in town such as pubs, restaurants, post office, banks and shops. We are close to the old harbour, just 2 minutes walk.

Breakfast is included in the price.

The location of this hotel was perfect! In the middle of the old centre and close to the shops and harbour. The hotel looks lovely and the room we had was decent and clean.
It was a bit of a letdown no one was in the office for any questions or information in the evening. We stayed for one night and had to take the early plane back to Amsterdam, so we had to leave at 6:00. We were promised a breakfast to take which would be made as we couldn't attend the breakfast. It would be in the fridge, but in the morning this fridge was empty.

So for location / cleaness they score points, but for service not! The information given when we arrived was VERY little.. (actually none) We didn't have the feeling they enjoyed chatting or helping. More like: hand over your money and please don't bother us.

Nice location, very central for downtown. Room decor a little dated but very clean and comfortable. Would certainly recommend and return.
