About Bolholt Apartments
Welcome to Boholt studio apartment guesthouse. Bolholt consists of 12 studio apartment (27 - 47 m2) with a private bathroom and a kitchenette with all utillities. BUFFET BREAKFAST INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. A live in staf is available from 7:00 - 24:00 and on emergency call during the night. Free internet connection, all LINNEN and TOWELS are provided. Free laundry room. Plenty parking spaces in front of the guesthouse. ****FLYBUS DROP OFF****
Location:
BOLHOLT is located on the 4th floor on Bolholt Street which is one street above the east end of Laugavegur, our main shopping and culture street of Reykjavik and has a magnifficent view of the bay and mountains around Reykjavik. It is with-in a walking distance of Laugardalur and its botanical garden, park and zoo and Iceland's biggest geothermal swimming pool and spa.

We arrived early in the morning from Seattle. The manager stored our bags for us and directed us where to go for breakfast. His cleaner was going to prepare our room for us and get us in ASAP. After a leisurly breakfast and a walk around, we got back to the Bolholt and found the manager finishing of preparing our room himself. The cleaner had come down ill, and gone home. He was more than accomodating.
The room was just perfect for us and convenient to all that we needed. It is only a short walk to the Hilton, and that is where the On/Off Bus and others leave from, although they will also pick you up at the Bolholt.
Clean and inexpensive. Loved it!

When we first arrived we were given No 11 which had a noisy pipe in the cupboard which kept us awake. After speaking to the staff who were helpful we moved to No 6 which was much better, quiet and had a nice view. Bolholt has now moved to a new breakfast system which is to provide the food in the fridge for your own convenience, it works well as long as the staff remember to refill every two days. They need reminding. However we were generally pleased with the apartment, convenietly located for the swimming pool, realively quiet, helpful staff and good views. I would recommend them as a good base to explore Reykjavik.

Directions
When coming from the international airport simply take the flybus (www.flybus.is) and in the Reykjavik Terminal change into a shtle bus wich takes you to the front of Reykjavik. Tell the bus driver the name of the Guesthouse and he will stop across the street.
Arriving in a rent a car the you should find Bolholt street just by the conjuntion of Laugavegur and Kringlumyrabraut.
