It is in fact better than, and very different from, many hotels, executive accommodations and even some average serviced apartments. Many different types of bedrooms are available at a variety of 'price points' to suit many different travel budgets. Every room can be taken with or without airconditioning and this decision can be made at the time of booking or even later in most cases. All rooms are furnished. Most of the rooms come with ensuit showers but one or two are available without ensuite shower to provide even cheaper stay. All showers are made to the most modern, expensive, western standard and are kept clean and tidy. With that, the guest can get a four star standard neat, clean, uncluttered and tidy room for the cost of a budget hotel room. While some rooms have a stand-alone room use only, other rooms can have a shared or sole-use access to fully furnished kitchen, dining area, well appointed lounge room and a balcony for just a little extra charge. What that means is that the guests get that feeling of staying at home, away from home. Shared option use means that the guest does not have to pay for the full charge but still can use all the facility. It also gives the option to sometimes interact with other guests. Backpackers, young travellers and NRIs love that interaction opportunity. All the faciliites of the entire premise are cleaned daily. It is required however that the guests keep the common use areas like kitchen and dining clean after use, for the benefit of other guests. Dharmadwar was recently upgraded to provide a range of one to four bedroom apartments (that means two to six rooms apartments in fact, counting the lounge and kitchen areas), in addition to just rooms. This upgrade is now completed. The fully upgraded facilities and new additions have taken Dharmadwar to an upmarket, four star hotel decor standard! Guests from over 20 countries including USA, England, Germany, France, Sweden, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, Spain and many more have given great reviews and 'thumbs up' to Dharmadwar. We believe there is nothing cheaper out there that is nearly half as decent, quiet and in a great, handy location as Dharmadwar! Dharmadwar is tastefully decorated, well stocked and imaginatively furnished. Linen and towels are provided free per person weekly, and more often at a nominal cost. Laundry facilities are available for free use. Assisted laundry service is available at a nominal charge. Tea and coffee making facilities are available and included with most room rentals. Basic breakfast is included in the room charges for most rooms. Round the clock hot and cold water supply is possible - just talk to the Manager on arrival. (Please note that showers need to run the water for a few minutes before your desired temperature is achieved. If in doubt, talk to the duty Manager in advance). 24x7 security is provided at the premises and all rooms have electronic card entries ensuring entry security. Some rooms are available with safe deposit boxes in rooms.The property is kept neat and tidy by professional cleaners and kept clean round the year, whether or not there are any guests. Hightest standards of hygiene are followed with waste disposal. The building is designed with the principles of green, energy saving ideas. The staff are trained to provide good customer service and to say 'Yes' more often to any requirements of the guests. Feedback from the guests is used to improve standards of the facility in every yearly upgrade program. On-duty manager and Dharmadwar staff are available to provide personal attention to all guest requests. They find it easier to take-away or dine-in at a wide variety of Indian, Chinese and Continental restaurants in the city not far from Dharmadwar. SPECIAL CHECK-IN TIME: 24 hours check-in (24 x 7 check in) if booking is made and if late or early arrival is intimated to us and confirmed by us by email or phone already. Arrivals after 4.45 pm and before 10.30 am MUST be agreed by us previously otherwise you may have to wait to be checked-in by regular staff. (Unplanned check-in can take up to an hour at least; and sometimes a few hours. On duty staff and guards have no facility to check you in without notice and do not speak English.) However please do not be discouraged to arrive anytime. We try our best to assist you with late bookings, late arrivals and unpredictable travel plans. Check our website for contact details. NORMAL CHECK-IN TIME: 10-30 am to 4-45 pm except on Sunday. During this time staff-assisted check-in is possible without advanced booking, if accommodation is available to suit your needs . We do try to look after guests arriving without notice, so do not hesitate to book 'last minute accommodation on the go' with us or just land without notice!CHECK-OUT TIME: 10am. Other check-out times are possible by previous arrangement. Kindly inform manager or office staff on duty as soon as you know your checkout needs. Please do not ask Guards or night duty staff for check-out. They are instructed not to allow check-in or check-out unless previously arranged with manager. PAYMENT METHOD AND OTHER TERMS:We can accept your booking made online through credit card, however for actual payment, we will NOT ACCEPT credit card payments or travellers cheques, or personal cheques. We accept only cash in local currency (Indian rupees) and give receipts. If we are unable to provide accommodation after making a booking, (which is a very rare event), we will refund full payment including booking deposit in local currency in cash after checking your valid identity documents. We collect full payment in advance when you check-in, however if you check-in outside of normal hours and need to exchange money or encash travellers cheques, our staff will guide you during office hours. We also reserve the right to take a small security deposit. 10% of payment you make on credit card for online booking is paid to our online booking agent directly at the time of booking. 90% remaining amount is payable in cash on arrival. The account will be settled in Indian rupees and the exchange rate will be advised by our local manager based on most recent available exchange rate data at the location. Other charges if incurred will be payable at the time when they are incurred or on check out as determined by the local manager. All disputes are subject to local jurisdiction of Ahmedabad and this is a condition that you the guest agrees to by the very act of booking or checking-in. In spite of that we reserve our right to pursue injunction or relief as required in any jurisdiction anywhere in the world and you the guest grant us that right by your act of booking with us and you agree to such granting of right to us by booking or checking-in. The guest also agrees to observe all the local rules and regulations; and also conditions of local management, which are along the general terms of similar operations. Where in doubt, the guest undertakes to demand and read them before or at check-in and no subsequent disputes will be entertained about knowledge of such conditions by the guest.
