RSSThe only reason i have given 1 star is because i was unable to give none on each of the catagories or enter a minus sign.
Right where do i start, i always book on line but follow up with a phone call so after booking online i phoned there number and a confused person said that my booking had not gone through because they had new management and no webb site up and running of which i jumped in and said well who have i paid the deposit to, I have made a booking online to which he replied that they should have a room for me and not too worry. But when i turned up there was no double room available, but they would check out a single room which might or might not have been cleaned that morning i asked to see the room and i was shown out the back of the main building to a shed i kid you not it had one window that would not open no lock on the door a hole in the wall which went in to the back garden and had the sun beating down on it all day, maybe the hole was there idea of air conditioning Ha Ha. I would not house my dog in a shed like that and the bed was not made and the well sheets but i think it was only a blanket was on the floor with the rubbish. I said i couldn't stay in that room and demanded my money back and with hesitation from them i received it. At the time all this was going on an old employee an irish man offered to drive me to another backpackers i accepted when i arrived there i thought i was dreaming the girl at the reception was very helpful the place had a pool and clean sheets and a proper bed room with a lock and two windows that opened a large fan and was one of the better places i have stayed. Oh and by the way it was quite a treck from the bus stop if using the free public transport, and no buses operated after 6.30pm weekdays. In the advert they offer free airport pick up and drop off, but again I was given the excuse that the van had broken down.
So if you have booked this place DONT SAY YOU HAVE NOT BEEN WORNED i suggest you pass this by and go round the corner to beatty lodge good luck
