If you want to cancle your room to stay in this hostel, you have to call and tell him on the phone, To send a e-mail doesn't work in this hostel. I paied for two nights, although I stay here just one night. Owner can't speak english and staff doesn't speak too. Maybe you can't cancle the reservation at all. Because they don't understand what you want.

A really special, and beautiful place. The rooms and common areas have lovely touches and details, a lot of care has gone into the interior design. There are 3 guest rooms and 3 bathrooms, so sharing has not been a problem. The place is immaculate. The location is quiet and peaceful, but definitely a trek from the train station. So happy I found this place.

Friendly Venice is the brand new guesthouse in the heart of Venice, located in Campo Santo Stefano, the most elegant square in Venice, two steps from the more prestigious stores in Italy (Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Ferragamo, Bulgari, Roberto Cavalli and many others) in a historically protected building with an entrance directly from the square as all the most prestigious constructions in Venice.
The location is strategic: 1 minute walking from Galleria dell' accademia, 5 mins from San Marco square, 10 mins from Rialto bridge and 20 minutes walking from train station or Piazzale Roma car/bus terminal and all attractions in Venice are less than 10 minutes walking, Peggy Gugenheim Museum 5 minutes, Palazzo Grassi on the corner, San Marco the most famous square in the world with its Campanile, the church, the Doge Palace less than 10 minutes, Ponte dei Sospiri 10 minutes, Goldoni and La Fenice theaters 10 minutes.
Nightlife lovers will find very close to Friendly Venice the most famous restaurants and bars in Venice as Da Fiore restaurant just on the corner, Harry's Bar and Hard Rock Cafe' and just two steps from the only real nightclub in Venice, The Souk.
All of our rooms have a view on a typical Venetian canal and are furnished with original 1800's wood pieces, in fact the apartment was the home of a famous Venetian painter and still conserve many of its paintings a time exposed in international extensions.
We have double rooms for couples, deluxe single rooms (spacious with large water mattress bed) and large 4/5 bed rooms for families or group of friends.
All our rooms have canal view and are extremely quite and silent during night and day.
Friendly Venice means a friendly and helpful staff that will be delighted to receive hosts of every nationality, culture, religion, age or sexual orientation.
We offer a refined typically venetian atmosphere, intentionally dated in order to conserve the fascination of the past.
