Enjoy the luxury of a quiet neighbourhood, chilled atmosphere and the benefit of being close to bars, live music and trendy restaurants, you will reach in a 3 minutes stroll to Lower Main Road. Groote Schur Hospital, University of Capetown, AFTA filmschool are all close by, either in walking distance or extremly easy excessable.

During the apartheid era Observatory enjoyed “grey area” status, meaning that people of all races lived together, and this same spirit has persisted into the new South Africa. The suburb's numerous clubs, restaurants, book and curio shops remain open until late, making Obs a great night-time spot.

Our lodge is small and we emphasis on a quiet and chilled atmoshere. There is a fully private garden flat with own entrance, kitchenette and bathroom if you like to have your own little place in the middle of the city. Further, we have dorms, double and single rooms.

We supply bedding, uncapped wifi internet, fully epuipped kitchen, lounge with DVD/projector and cleaning services. We also offer an inhouse laundry service

The name of the nearest airport is Capetown international airport and we are approximatly 35 kilometers away by taxi it will 250 Rans which is the best way to get to us.
