Hello traveller,
I'd like te recommend the Vinayak Guesthouse to you. The energetic young owner recently renovated several rooms which are very fresh and clean, including the new bathroom attached to the room. The owner, mr Raman, also renovated the front of the building, the men were working when we stayed there. Looking at the picture on their site it's finished now. he said it would be finished in August and apparently he succeeded. The prices of the rooms are very acceptable, aircooler (is not the same as AC), a ceiling fan, TV for a lazy evening. Yes, it was good for me and my wife and 2 daughters (ages 47-47-21-19)
The connection through taxis or tuctucs to the rest of the city can be arranged by him. Just fair prices. His rooftop terrace was to be build during our stay. At that time an ugly place. Mr Raman will probably make something nice out of it, give him time.
Jaipur as a city did not end in our top 5 of nicest cities visited. This is subjectiv I know....

This guest house is run by a lovely man that is so sweet and helpfull. We stayed in the room with attached bathroom and it was huge with a big double bed and had a TV. It was clean and a great price only 600 Rupees per night and that was over New Year. You get hot water although no shower just a bucket but I think thats fine. I would definately stay here again and I would recommend it to any fellow budget backpacker.

It was pleasant stay.The location,the budget and the services offered are excellent.You can reach to location by walk or auto rick will charge Rs.20/-.As it is near to station you can spend time for doing shopping etc.
