……..”haven for luxury campers.”

---“most definitely an irresistible and snug hideout to escape from the sweaty and bustling metropolis!”

a place which would run riot an artist’s imagination…..the retreat is but an amphitheater to a captivating panorama of high-rising mountain slopes blanketed with thick glistening snow, the majestic deodar trees that stand tall and silent in a sense of unspoken camaraderie, a pristine patch of verdant green grassland here and there, the magical stillness in the crisp mountain air that is divinely interrupted by the torrential sound of the gushing icy waters of the river Beas that originates from the imposing glaciers to flow with gay abandon …….”

Activities at the Solang Valley Camp Retreat

During the day indulge in a fitness game of volleyball, badminton, cricket, cycling or lounge peacefully on the hammock beside the gushing river. Short distance trek with backpack picnic lunch is another favorite with the campers. And then as dusk sets in, the surroundings take on a smoky hue against the clear starry night, and the mercury begins to plummet, you know it is time for making merry around the dancing flames of the bonfire with a hot drink, bar-be-cue, and shaking a leg or two to the peppy music.

Paragliding for the daredevils, Zorbing – a huge transparent ball in which one is strapped & rolled down the grass meadows, horse riding, mountain biking, river crossing, rock climbing & rappelling are amongst a plethora of options. And hey! Keep a watch out for your Bollywood heartthrobs too! Solang Valley is one of the favorite shooting hotspots of the Indian film industry.

The snow covered Solang Valley in winters ( October to March) offers a lifetime experience of sheer thrill when you get astride a snow scooter and zoom to the summit of the peaks, fervently try to ski, go sledging, mount a Yak, sit inside a tube and zip down the steep slopes – snow mobiling! There is so much more to be captured in your cameras and treasured in your memories forever!!!

In summers all snow activities organized by us take place at the snow points of Kothi, Marhi, Beas Nallah or Rohtang Pass depending on the months of travel.

Colourful Swiss cottage tents housing a sitting area with comfortable chairs and tables, a 4- bed sleeping area & attached bathroom with running water taps + basins & western toilets. Cosy beds padded with colourful linen & quilts complete your sojourn!Electric supply to the camp is available at all times. And yes! The canopy of the star -studded sky too offers clear visibility as dusk sets in.
