This is a Trusted Review. Why?
We booked the Basic Twin Private Shared Bathroom on the web (there are no fotos on the web), and when we arrived they brought us in a bad constructed wooden cabin with two beds and that's it!The place was very cold and dirty. We asked to take the ensuite, since we already paid and the gave us the room, which was ok, with an old bed, but very expensive (450pesos!) for what it was offering! Especially if you consider that in S.Cristobal you can find a hotel(not a hostel) with that amount of money! We stayed only one day, and then we found a nicer place in the center (on Hidalgo street- the hostel las palomas is like 10 min. walking from zocalo) with only 200 pesos with private bathroom!I think there is no value for money, considering the median prices in the town. In addition, there are few services in the hostel and everything costs...Laundry costed us 18 pesos per kilo when all around the city you wont pay more than 10 pesos!the towel costs 15 pesos, even for one glass of water they make you pay 1 peso! The tours they offered also were overpriced. People working there are friendly and the garden is very nice as well, but that doesn't recompense the relation between price-quality.
