Whilst "centrally" located it is in a shabby part of town if you walk to the skytrain/chinatown. No breakfast places if you head toward the city so walk away from town up the hill in Main St
Also the price quoted by Travellerpoint is not what you end up paying as it does not show the 18% local tax so be sure depite the price shown on the travellors website invoice not mentioning additional taxes. Might be worth booking direct with the hotel to clear this up as it was a real problem for us.
There are better places to stay in Vancouver - try Jericho beach Youth hostel a bit out of town but very nice location and great atmosphere as this place had none - a bit like a low security prison but close to one of the main train stations if you arrive late into town
