Hostel Lipa, Prague, Czech Republic

Our family hostel is situated near centre of Prague in Zizkov quarter. Zizkov is lively neighborhood. You can find many bars and pubs in this area.

We designed the rooms in a way that we ourselves would like to find on our travels.

Our hostel is good base camp to get to know all parts of Prague.

There are 2 shared kitchens with dishwasher and other equipment.

There is a lockable parking place in the yard, the fee being 100 CZK (4 Euros) / 24 hours.

We don't have a permanent reception so please send us your arrival time in advance by email, or call us.

Hostel Lipa has 4 rooms. Blue room (25 sqm) and Green room (25 sqm) are private rooms and red room is 4 bed dorm (25 sqm). White room is private double room too but is very small (5 sqm). This is cheap private double room for low budget travellers.

- Red room is 4 bed mixed dormitory and one extra bed.

- Blue room has matrimonial bed and one extra bed.

- Green room has 2 separate beds and there are available 2 extra beds.

- White room is the smallest room with one matrimonial bed.

Rooms share 2 kitchens, toilet and bathroom.

From bus and metro station Florenc take a bus number 207, 133 or 175 and get off on the second stop called Tachovske namesti. (24 CZK ticket)

From Main train station Hlavni nadrazi. From the main entrance of Hlavni nadrazi go right through the park. There take a tram number 5, 9 or 26 to station Lipanska (second stop). Continue from here by foot down the hill on Chlumova street (approximately 500 metres) skip Stitneho Street and Prokopovo namesti, until you get to Tachovske namesti. (24 CZK ticket)

From the airport take a bus number 119 to Dejvicka metro station, then take a metro A line (green line) to Staromestska station and then take a bus number 207 and get off on Tachovske namesti stop. (32 CZK ticket)

Airport alternative options: Take the ‘AE’ airport express bus (50 CZK) to Hlavni Nadrazi (last stop). Then follow the description above.

From train station Nadrazi Holesovice (2nd train station). You have to find metro stop Nadrazi Holesovice (C line, red). Take a metro in direction Haje and get off on second stop which is called Florenc. From Florenc take a bus number 207, 133 or 175 and get off on the second stop called Tachovske namesti. (24 CZK ticket)
