We were very happy with our stay, great service, all we asked for were arranged. The staff were great, friendly, polite and service minded. Wonderful with the sea close by, great to be a bit away from the busy Singgigi.
There are just a few things that could be improved. The breakfast toast was not always warm. the water pump was a bit annoying. The chairs on our veranda were not so comfortable.
We would absolutely recommend this place to our friends.

Hotel Bulan Baru is located just 7kms north of central Senggigi. It is a peaceful oasis far from the hawkers and crowds; but only a 5 minute drive from all the tourist facilities.
Nestled in a green valley, surrounded by mountains and jungle, this is your chance to experience the real sense of natural Lombok living.
Across the road from the hotel, through a small coconut grove, lies a long deserted beach which is perfect for swimming, snorkelling and shell collecting. The sunsets across the Lombok Strait to the sacred volcano, Mt Agung on Bali, are magnificent.
There are eleven deluxe rooms set in lush tropical gardens, surrounding a central swimming pool. All the rooms are large and comfortable, with private terraces, minibars, air conditioning and have wonderful semi open-air bathrooms, with indoor gardens and fantasy murals.
The hotel's restaurant overlooks the beach and serves fine Indonesian and western food. Whether you are looking for possibly the best satay in Indonesia, or are craving some home-cooked bangers and mash, you won't be disappointed! The beer is cold, the juices are fresh and the cocktails are waiting! Enjoy a drink on your terrace, or sip a cold one in the pool at our pool bar.
Australian-owned and managed, Bulan Baru is everything you were hoping for (but didn't think you could afford!) This is top quality accommodation at a top value price!

Directions
Selaparang Airport is located near Mataram, the capital city of Lombok and about a 20 minute drive south of Senggigi (the main tourist centre).
The hotel is located in the quiet village of Lendang Luar, 7kms north of Senggigi and just a 5 min drive into town. It is 1½ kms north of the Holiday Inn Resort.
Airport taxis are available from the arrivals terminal, for a fixed fee. Alternately, save money by walking out onto the main road and hailing a Bluebird taxi.
Taxis in Lombok all use their meters, so you don't need to haggle the price. Taxi fare from Senggigi is around Rp 20 000 (US $2).
