My partner, daughter and I recently stayed at Bayu Mantra and it was a great place to just relax away from Kuta. The real Bali. We enjoyed the local boat trip to see the dolphins and snorkel the small reef close by. Great value for money.

About Bayu Mantra
Bayu Mantra offers the guest a chance to relax in a beautiful garden setting just steps from the beach and shops, but away from the sound of highway traffic. Our 8 units are in 4 double bungalows (two large bedrooms and two open air bathrooms in each bungalow). All have adjustable ceiling fans and a balcony. Recently, Air Conditioning was added to two rooms. A restaurant with TV offers traditional Indonesian and Western dishes with alcohol.

The black sandy beach is only 2 to 3 minutes from the gate...lovely for an early morning walk. Other restaurants and shops for snacks and personal needs are on the street outside. At the corner (200 mtrs) there is internet and pay phone service. Just a block west is the Parama Tour Bus stop (from Kuta and Ubud).
We can arrange day tours (e. g., hot springs, fishing, diving, snorkling, dolphin viewing). The Agung family have met international guests for over 7 years now and would be pleased to meet you.

Located too far away from the "town" area of Lovina. To get transport by motorbike costs 10,000 rupiahs to get to town from the hotel. They wanted an extra 50,000 rupiahs for air conditioning. The room was okay, but not very clean - there were crumbs and hairs on both beds in my room when I arrived, I ended up using my sleeping bag as I was disgusted. The bathroom has hot water, but very poor lighting, and is outdoor, and room #6 has a mouse living in the bathroom which I actually SAW. The mouse pees and poops all over the bathroom, it is totally disgusting. The breakfast was also quite disappointing. I would NOT recommend anyone stay here. Also, the "beach" nearby, is filled with fishing boats, and be prepared to be attacked by all the hawkers trying to sell you their jewelry and massages. SO irritating/unenjoyable. No Wifi in rooms either. Stay somewhere ELSE!!!! Also, front desk is not very helpful to organize trips/activities.. no brochures/pamphlets or any kind of information provided whatsoever.
