We are an old Lodge accommodating backpackers since 1978 and have housed close to a hundred thousand people from most of the countries of the world. So we can say that we have out lived 5 decades and three generations of ownership. We have fake places using our name to take away our guest so please beware, especially Old Yogi Lodge.

We are a simple place provide bacis accomodation and services for very reasonable prices. We ensure quite and comfortable accomodation like a home. We also have a restaurant, travel assistancce, internet and laundry. We also arrange boat trips, tours and sight seeings.

Are room are very clean and equipped with beds, side tables, fans and good bright lights. We have varied types of accomodation from dormitory to doubles to five bedded rooms.

Please call us in advance and we arrange pickup from all possible entry to the city find us is a bit difficult. We are in the oldest part of the Varanasi but most of the taxi can find us. There are a few places using our name like Old Yogi Lodge so be careful.

We also have pick up service from the Airport, which you will need to arrange before you arrive. The travelling time is at least an hour and a half and the cost is about 800 Rupees.

From the train station, we are about 10 kilometres and the charge by taxi is 250 Rupees, that’s including at least 3 small baggage items.
