Local tourist attractions include the Skellig Rock also known as Skellig Michael. Boat Trips to Skellig Michael can be arranged at Hostel, Boats depart from Ballinskeligs Pier daily during season weather permitting. The Kerry Way walking route, Blue Flag beaches, Valentia Island, Cill Rialaig Famine Village, Artist Retreat, Art Gallery,Water Sports, Golf, Horse Riding, Ring Forts at Cahirciveen and so much more.

The hostel, built in 2003 is registered with Failte Ireland and meets the highest standards of comfort and convenience for guests. With warm, spacious, fresh and bright bedrooms and facilities, you will be pleasantly surprised by the private and public areas available.

Ballinskelligs is a Gaeltacht (where Irish is spoken) situated just off the Ring of Kerry road, between Caherciveen and Waterville on the Iveragh Peninsula.

Hostel 5 minutes walk from Beach.Hostel walking distance to two pubs/Restaurant. Beach Cafe, on Beach, Country Market every Sunday in Garden of Beach Cafe June, July, August with entermaintment by local singer's & musicians. Art Gallery, Deli, Fast Food Take Away.Restaurant in Art Gallery with fine selecation of wines.

Entertainment in local pubs at weekends & mid-week during summer months.

Conditions

We are delighted to welcome you to our hostel from 10am each day. However, as Check Out time is at 10am, we cannot guarantee your room until later in the day. On your arrival, we can give you an indication as to when your room will be ready.
Please indicate at time of booking if you are going to arrive late as our Reception is not open on a 24 hour basis.
We are very happy to provide bed linen. Towel hire available.
