All fine. I was travelling alone in Rio and had a good stay in this hostel. Very clean, nice staff, perfect BBQ one evening. If the dormitory is fully booked, it can be quite crowded. Still, everything is clean and you have a locker for your personal things.

Amazing trip to Rio made even better by Standfast hostel.
The Hostel is located close to the metro stop which makes getting around very easy but is a about 10 minutes by metro from from the party areas so is quiet at night..
All is very modern and clean and has a great area for guests to interact.
also they put on a lot of events during the week such as pizza night or bbq sundays which is good fun.
I have yet to find a better hostel in South America.
