Overlooking The Killary - Ireland\'s only fjord - and surrounded by the peaks of Mweelrea, The Twelve Bens and Maumturk mountains in the centre of Connemara, it is probably one of the most spectacularly situated hostels anywhere in Western Europe.
N.B. Remember this property is quite isolated. While we have vending machines that sell drinks and snacks, if planning on preparing meals yourself it is advisable to bring food with you, rather than having to drive or walk a few miles to buy groceries.
Remember breakfast is not included but we have complimentary tea and coffee
Reception is Open:
From 9.00am to 12.00 noon
From 5.00pm to 10.00pm
We recommend that all guests buy groceries and drinks before coming to the hostel. Hamilton's and Gaynor's pubs in Leenane have a grocery store ( 6 km)
We do not serve breakfast, however tea and coffee are available free of charge, and guests can use the self-catering kitchen to prepare breakfast.
