When I arrived, there didn't appear to be any secure car parking so I parked on the kerb (found out later on that there is but you need to know where to find it first). No-one answered the door so I waited a while and then tried again.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?
When I arrived, there didn't appear to be any secure car parking so I parked on the kerb (found out later on that there is but you need to know where to find it first). No-one answered the door so I waited a while and then tried again...this time someone answered but it was a guest! Mary (the owner) had gone out and left a note saying she'd be back soon but she didn't appear the whole time I was chatting to the other guest...instead a spanish woman under the employ of the Guesthouse came along and ended up giving me the key to my room. The room was clean but the ensuite bathroom was tiny and the bed was hard. But the guesthouse was in a relatively central position to get to the city centre, pubs, restaurants and the airport (although this did make it slightly noisy). An alright place to stay..especially if you want to wander round Dublin City.
