B&B Il Mirto Bianco, Sorrento, Italy

Our B&B is an ancient charming villa near Sorrento, situated in a peaceful hilly region, surrounded by olive and lemon trees.

‘Il Mirto Bianco’ Charming House was built as an ancient villa in the nearby of Sorrento. It is located in a peaceful hilly area, immersed in the green of the olives where the senses are raptured by the lemon trees all around. Once the house had got a stable, an olive-press and a cellar, but it has been completely restructured around the 70s to give much more comfort building a further floor with mansard and terrace. The house has a horseshoe shape and at all guests disposal you can find a wide patio on the right and a little garden on the left corner, completed with a gazebo and ornamental plants which create a shady oasis where to satisfy the need to rest and to relax reading a book in silence. The house boasts a panoramic and sunny terrace, the perfect place where to have a breathtaking view between the blue sea of the gulf and the top of Mount Vesuvius.

Among the variety of services there are: a healthy and rich breakfast composed with organic food and homemade cakes prepared by the careful hands of the house’s owner in order to preserve the wholesome tastes of our land; TV room and reading room are common spaces created in a warm and comfortable way where even the choice of the furniture gives a touch of art to the environment; to cure the soul and the body the owner can organise upon request yoga sessions and ecological walkings; in case of need babysitting can be requested.

All rooms are located between first and second floor and have got a private bathroom with shower, king size and comfortable bed, large window or small terrace and central heating in cold seasons. Carpet, pictures and epoch furniture create a smart setting.

The favourable position gives to all guests the opportunity to enjoy the beauties of Sorrento but even to reach easily the neighbouring towns which had created the history of our region. Sorrento is the perfect starting point for tourist amenities such as Capri, Ischia, Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Positano and Amalfi.

Motorway A3 Napoli- Salerno take the Castellammare di Stabia- Penisola Sorrentina; it leads to Strada Statale 145sorrentina that runs along the homonymous peninsula. Go on to Sorrento, driving thought Vico Equense, Meta, Piano and at last Sant'Agnello. Here, passed the parish church, turn on the left and go up to the hilly region for about 500 mt, look for Via del Cimitero and following the instructions. Il Mirto Bianco is in a narrow road on the left.
