This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Staff overall were unfriendly, unhelpful and didn't seem to know what was on offer for the guests. On our third night, speaking to other guests in our dorm we realised they were receiving free breakfast (full Irish cooked breakfast) while we were told it was almost €9 each. After questioning the night staff as to why we were not getting free breakfast they said there was an error and would check with their system in the morning and we could have breakfast the next day.
When we got there in the morning they said they stopped free breakfast for check ins after 1st June (we checked in 8th June), we checked with the other people in the dorm and they checked in a day before us and still got it!

Although the rooms were clean and spacious, when traveling on a budget a free cooked breakfast is a big bonus and you can't help but feel ripped off when everyone else is getting it!

I actually stayed in 3 different hostels during my stay in Dublin and if I were to go back to this beautiful city, I would book my stay at Globetrotters. Full Irish breakfast and free internet!

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Globetrotters Hostel was a great place to stay in Dublin. It was only a couple of blocks from the bus and train station, and a short walk to O'Connell Street, Temple Bar, Grafton Street, etc. The rooms were large and the bunk beds were arranged to give privacy and a quiet night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and ensuite. By far the best part of this hostel was the full Irish breakfast (the same breakfast the adjoining B & B gets). It was delicious! One downfall: the free internet offered is only on one computer and was always occupied during my entire stay. However, there is a cheap (2 euro per hour) internet cafe across the street. I would definitely stay here again.
