Silvergate Hostel, Split, Croatia

Hostel Silver Gate is situated in the middle of the city centre with a view to Diokcetians Palace from every room. It is only 5 minute walk from the main bus/train/ferry station and 60 metres from the airport bus station. All our rooms are equipped with computer and air-condition/heating system.

We are just steps away from tons of shops, restaurants, bars and Diocletian's Palace.

Our members of staff are both Croatian and American, and we are young, English speaking and incredibly knowledgeable about Split, the islands, Croatia and beyond!

Our job is to make sure you have a blast and have everything you need!

Our hostel is only a 10 minute walk from the beach, and 3 minutes from the bus/train/ferry!

We offer rafting trips year round, as well as trips to Krka National Park! Don't miss out on these awesome excursions!

All our dorms are mixed, have 6 or 7 beds and are equipped with air-conditioning and security lockers. To top it off, all rooms have an awesome view of the Silver Gate of Diocletian's Palace!

We also offer private rooms (both with double beds) and a 3 bed dorm in our apartment (includes dining area, bathroom and computer) just meters away from Silver Gate Hostel!

The hostel has 2 computers with free internet, and in our common room, we have a 110 HD Plasma TV with cable, DVDs.

We also have a washing machine and dryer!

There is a refrigerator available for use, dishes and microwave.

All bed linen is included in the price! Towels are also available upon request!

Luggage storage is also available.

Reception hours: From 08:30 until 23:00!

If you are arriving before or after reception hours please contact the hostel 24h before your arrival! Payment is due upon arrival in cash!

We offer 4 dorms, sleeping 6-8 in each in the hostel.

We also offer a 3 bed dorm and private rooms( both with double bed) in our apartment, just 1 minute away from Silver Gate Hostel. The apartment has a kitchen, computer and bathroom.

From the central bus/train/ferry station in Split

-Make sure the water is on your left side, and walk towards Diocletian's Palace and the promenade.

-When you reach the corner of the palace (at the very beginning of the promenade) turn right (Hrvojeva Street) - you will see lots of souvenir stalls on the street.

-After one minute you will see on your left hand side an entrance to the palace (Silver gate) and on the corner on the right is a large stone building (Hrvojeva street, #6).

- Look for the sign that says Jaguar Photo Copy, and go through the walkway to find the entrance to the building.

- IMPORTANT: Please pay attention to the signs for Silver Gate Hostel! We are located on the second floor, ONE FLOOR ABOVE HOSTEL ANA! HOSTEL ANA IS NOT PART OF SILVER GATE HOSTEL!!

From the Airport Bus Stop, follow directions from the corner of the palace.
