This is a Trusted Review. Why?
The best thing about Gogarty is its location in Temple Bar, and especially its proximity to the Oliver St. John Gogarty pub. The staff were very friendly, and the rooms and common areas were kept clean and orderly. I would stay there again!

Breakfast Included 24 hour reception
The Oliver St. John Gogarty hostel is situated in the heart of Temple Bar, the cultural heart of Dublin, famously known for its restaurants/cafe pubs, nightclubs and specialist shops. We are the only hostel in Ireland to have a bar as part of the complex. There is secure car parking next door to Gogartys Hostel, please note this is not part of the complex, however our guests recieve discounted rates which are availible through reception.
Temple Bar itself is a network of narrow cobbled 18th century streets between the River Liffey and Dame Street and Oliver St John Gogarty's is right in the centre. Gogarty's consists of three bars and has a restaurant on the top floor, so as soon as you set foot outside the door of the hostel you can immediately feel and hear the electric buzz that is Temple Bar.

From Dublin Airport get a bus into the city centre. Cross O 'Connell Bridge and walk up Westmoreland Street. Take a right off this street down Fleet Street. We are situated on the left, passed Thunder Road Cafe
Coming from Busaras (Dublin's main bus station) or either of the train stations make your way to O'Connell Bridge (with O'Connell Bridge and the 'Spike' behind you) and use the same directions.
