About Corcreggan Mill

Corcreggan Mill Hostel (Estb 1990)

The Mill House is a lovingly restored,old stone building, set in a tranquil hollow alongside New Lake Nature Reserve, with views over Tory Island and the Atlantic Ocean. Located on the N.56, 2M (3km) south west of the popular sea-side village of Dunfanaghy.

The property, including the old Mill, occupies what was once a pre-celtic site, said to have been 'the energy centre of the whole northwest of Ireland'.

There is a wide range of accommodation available; ...luxury, en-suite (private bathroom); twin/double and family rooms on the ground floor; twin/double, four and five person dormitory rooms on the first floor, (with shared bathrooms); and, a camping ground on the lawn by the Mill Stream, (with its own kitchen/dining and toilet/shower facilities).

There is a total of 31 beds in the Mill House.

Groups are welcome, especially off-season and in some cases special offers apply.

We have three workshop/meeting rooms of different sizes.

PLEASE NOTE:

1.Check in time is 16.00hrs - 21.00hrs.

2.If arriving by Bus ... DO NOT GET OFF IN VILLAGE, continue to Corcreggan Mill (3km further west)!

3. We have a 48hr Cancellation Policy off-season, but in Jul-Aug and holiday weekends it is one week. If you fail to turn up we charge for one night off-season and two nights in Jul/Aug or at holiday/festival weekends.

4 We close for winter (except to groups of more than 10 people) from 07 Nov - 09 Mar

Our normal cancellation policy is 48 hrs notice but in July and August it is one week. If you fail to turn up we charge for one night off-season and two nights in Jul/Aug or at holiday/festival weekends.


We allow one free night if you stay for seven.

Our check in time is from between 16.00hrs - 21.00hrs.

We are closed for winter from 07 November to 07 March
