Stone Town Cafe & Bed & Breakfast offers the perfect base for exploring Zanzibar: whether you intend to simply relax after your safari, shop for local crafts, head for the beach or soak up the culture of this historic island.

Our building is easy to locate within the UNESCO listed Stone Town on Kenyatta Road, just past the old Post Office on the left. S still owned by the Swahili family of the Arab merchant who built it 111 years ago, the building has been lovingly restored to maintain its original charm, with added modern touches to ensure your comfort. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with Zanzibari-style canopy beds and full length mosquito nets. Queen, single and twin rooms are available. Pressurized hot water and are air-conditioned with flat screen televisions with cable, mini fridge, in-room safe and hairdryer are standard fittings. Iron and beach towels available on request.

For your convenience, our café is open from 8am to 10pm.

It's not uncommon to hear our returning guests to say "Now I'm home" when they once again walk through our doors. This reflects our friendly and helpful team of local staff, our location and the exotic ambience of our rooms. We love what we do, and it shows. Family operated, we have just eight rooms, all appointed in the Zanzibar-style, so we can offer you personalized care and ensure a memorable visit to our tropical paradise.
