NB: We Do not pay for or refund money for airport transfers.

NB: Our Hostel is a youth hostel and not suitable nor comfortable for older guests (over 38 years old with prior arrangement only) groups are not accepted without prior arrangement with hostel ( extra charges apply)

Admission policy:
Accommodation is available for International Passport Holders only. If you have already stayed with us and for one reason or other you have been asked to leave, you may not use any online booking systems to make a new reservation. if you do we will charge you for the room, and cancel your booking and evict you again without a refund, a charge of $100 for re-eviction applies. Management reserves its rights to admit.

Cancellation Policy:
Any cancellations made within 1 days of check-in forfeit the full amount of the booking.

New Year Policy:
We will charge you an additional deposit on making a reservation this will be 50% of the total amount, there is a minimum stay of 8 nights, and we do not accept check-ins or check-outs on 31st December and 1st January unless with prior approval and arrangement. Full payment is required upon arrival. Although the deposit to hostel-world maybe refundable, the additional deposit to the our hostel is not refundable – please consider this carefully when making a reservation and obtain travel insurance

Arrival Policy:
Please indicate arrival time (e.g. 9:00 for 9 am and 21:00 for 9pm) please take into consideration travel time from airport (about 1 hour).
IF YOU DONT SPECIFY YOUR ARRIVAL TIME WE WILL CANCELL YOUR BOOKING AND CHARGE YOU. IF YOU ARE ARRIVING AFTER 8 PM YOU MUST CONTACT US AND ARRANGE FOR LATE CHECK-IN BY PHONE OR EMAIL (before your arrival !!!)

Eviction Policy:
We are fair, please respect our property and our guests so we can all enjoy a great time. we want you to have fun, but we will evict you without notice or refund if you misbehave.

Internet Pricing:
Internet prices are not available for in-house guests. Note if you book online and you are already staying you may have to pay additional charges(min $5 per night per person). Our internet rates are intro-promotional rates for new guests.

Same Room Policy:
Although we will try our best to accommodate you in the same room prior to arrival or within a few days after checking in, this is not always possible as we are a very popular hostel.

Independent Hostel:
We do not accept Government &/or Religious Organisation funded Tourists; nor School and University Groups

Credit Cards:
We do not accept any credit card starting with number 6, if you use these types of cards your booking will not be guaranteed. A surcharge of up to 3% may apply to credit card use. If your card expires before your arrival we will charge you 10% of the accommodation cost as deposit.

Liability:
The hostel does not accept responsibility and reserves all its rights against loss, theft or damage to guest property. Although we care and have security systems in place, you stay and store your luggage and belongings at your own risk.

Airport pickup:
Free Airport pickup must be prearranged and only on full payment of room charges. Due to delays in flights we cannot guarantee immediate pickup. airport pickup is subject to availability of seat on our transport, therefore we advise you book well ahead.Min stay requirements apply. please contact us to arrange pickup.

Please note the 'Deposit' you pay is the fee charged by the agent on top of their 'booking fee' for their commission. We add 10% GST (australian tax or VAT).

No Show:
You will be charged a cancellation fee and one nights accommodation (subject to other policies for NYE etc)
We Recommend you take out insurance to cover your for any loss due to cancellation or change in your travel.

Directions

To reach ChiliBlue from the airport you can catch a shuttle bus - these leave from outside the Arrivals area of both the International and Domestic Terminals. The trip costs $12 to $14 per person and they will drop you at our front door - best not to buy a return ticket when you need to go back we can sell you a ticket to the airport for $10. Depending on your flight, you may have to go by taxi anyway.

If you'd like to come by taxi, it should not cost you more than $45, try to find another lost soul with a backpack and see if you can share the ride to kings cross and split the cost.

You can also buy a 7day Bus/Train/Ferry Pass including a return ticket to and from the airport. Buy this only if you are going back to the airport within 7 days and intent to use the buses and trains extensively the cost is about $40

We are located 100 metres to the north from Kings Cross Train Station - take the Victoria Street exit and walk down the street, Chilli Blue is on the right hand side.
