Environment:The guesthouse is located at a less developed village where I still get to see houses with low stones walls rather than concrete walls. The environment of the village is calm and peaceful. The guest house is near a beach and next to a mountain. Down the slope from the guesthouse is a number of seafood restaurants where I had great seafood stew. there are nice cafes and garlic plantations in the village. Nice village to spend a night in!
Guesthouse: Owners and staffs in guesthouse are friendly and approachable. The ambience of the guesthouse goes well together with the ambience of the village, nice and peaceful. I had a nive black pork bbq dinner at the guesthouse's cafe and it's reasonably priced.
The beds are comfortable and the washrooms are clean and spacious. Overall, the place is a cosy place to stay.

Fantastic place by the sea and surroundings of nature. Definitely a breathtaking scene to wake up to. The warm hospitality by the hosts was also something that made the trip worthwhile. The lady host was extremely helpful with our itinerary for the days which made planning of our trip successfully smooth. Getting around was made easy too. Warm and comfortable room which was speck and clean. The only thing that was lacking is the tv. Drivinf around the area was also something you should really consider for some picturesque view. Overall a fantastic stay at the stonehouse.

I went to this guesthouse as I wanted to attend a conference in nearby ICC Jeju. On the map it looked close by and on the whole - it was. It's about 6-7 km (4 miles), but since many conference delegates had to be situated in extremely expensive hotels everywhere on the island, I felt myself being very close to the venue for a reasonable price. The wifi worked very well and there's plenty of place to quietly sit down with a laptop, so no complaints!
A regular and reliable bus service (a 4 minute walk from the guesthouse) takes you in about 10 minutes to Jungmun, where the ICC is located. From there it's another 12 minute walk, so if you don't mind a little stroll in the morning, it's very well doable. A taxi back at night shouldn't cost you more than 7,000 won.
Breakfast is excellent, I shall never forget the sea side view veranda in the morning while listening to Italian opera music. Now that is relaxing!
Last but not least - the couple running the guesthouse are doing a fabulous job - they are friendly, helpful, relaxed, always in for a chat and welcome you whenever you come 'home'.
