Originally a fishing lodge with its own harbour, this hostel overlooks Lough Feeagh in a really beautiful area of Co. Mayo.
The hostel is situated at the crossroads of the Western Way and the Bangor Trail. Great walking, cycling, fishing, and swimming on the lake amid wonderful peace and solitude.
Within walking distance are many sites of historical and archaeological interest.

Road/Car: From either Castlebar (17 miles) or Westport (13 miles), via Newport. Signposted from bridge in Newport. Make sure you take Achill Island Road. Situated on ?Western Way? walking route, beside Lough Feeagh.
Bus: From Westport, follow N59 to Newport; Westport ? Achill service, alight at Newport, follow signs for hostel (8km).
