This hostel is a personal, relaxed & comfortable place, with friendly local staff who go out of their way to make your trip even more enjoyable. With its perfect location in Bohemian Glebe, situated close to Darling Harbour and the city makes it a great base away from the noisy hustle and bustle of the Sydney CBD.

Perfect if you're a Working Holiday Maker or just want to take your time in Sydney. Bed linen is supplied and there is also a laundry for guests to use and lockers to store your luggage. Weekly and two week rates are available, please contact hostel directly for more details.

Our 4 star hostel is very popular for those who like a more settled and entertaining hostel that also offers high security, cleanliness, and the best of backpacker facilities.

The large rooftop with great city views, BBQ area & sun lounges is a great place to unwind and meet your fellow travellers. Enjoy the big TV/movie room and games area with pool table. Feast in our fully-equipped self-catering kitchen and dining room. Stay in touch with fast web access at our Internet Cafe, or check out our well-established jobs board and car sales/notice board.

We also have a day tour desk with heaps of information on what to see or do in and around Sydney. Just ask our staff who know all about the area and will be happy to help you choose and book the right activity to suit you.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

One of the better YHAs as far as atmosphere goes. It's not huge like the sydney central one, so it's a little more personal. I wouldn't go back here but that's only because I would go to the Palms in Kings cross. It was definitely a nice place though.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

By far my favorite hostel in Sydney, I return here every chance I get. The very best part about this hostel is its location in glorious Glebe, a very welcoming and almost bohemian feeling neighbourhood, with the atmosphere of a small village, yet a mere 20 minute walk / 10 minute bus ride (15 in rush hour) away from central station (take bus 431, and ride it to its next to last stop; you'll know you're there when everyone else has gotten off the bus). Glebe Point Road is lined with awesome bakeries, cafes, used bookstores and restaurants, perfect for spending a lazy afternoon.
The hostel itself has good atmosphere, and features an awesome rooftop terrace with lazy hammocks (only in summer) and frequent barbecues. Its rooms are clean, the kitchen large and okayishly equipped (has been better), and the bathrooms are decent (although only just; they could definitely stand being improved upon). I don't care much for its TV lounge either, but with the rooftop terrace, I've never felt the need to hang out there anyway.

Highly recommended.
