Budget Accommodation Europe Ireland Shannon Hostels Jamaica Inn
This is a Trusted Review. Why?
The staff was very helpful. The beds were clean, so were the washrooms and the kitchen was very nice and clean.
Only a few problems.
Though the kitchen was clean, there were a few ants crawling around. Nothing that a few ant-traps wouldn't cure.
Also, I was under the impression that everything was close by. It is, ONLY if you have a car. The taxi from the airport to the hostel cost me 25 Euro and going anywhere by taxi cost 20 Euro or more. I would have taken the bus but I was there on a sunday and bank holiday so buses did not run through Sixmilebridge. Even on a regular day the buses are few.
I would only reccomend this hostel if they are just passing through and need a nice, clean, quiet place to stay. Not to see the sights.
