The Benwiskin Centre, awarded the EU Flower Ecolabel Certification in July 2008 in recognition of their 'Green' approach to their services from the European Commission under the Tourist Accommodation category is one of the most ideally situated holiday hostels in North County Sligo. Set in the shadow of Benwiskin Mountain, part of the Ireland's Dartry Mountain range, with the Sligo coastline a short distance away, the Benwiskin Centre invites those looking for hostels in Sligo to come and experience the beauty of the North West of Ireland.

The Benwiskin Centre is a 26 bed Hostel and Self Catering Accommodation Centre in a rural village called Ballintrillick, which is in North County Sligo.
We operate a 48 hour cancellation policy or the first night stay will be charged.
PLEASE NOTE: Check in time is AFTER 2pm on the day of your arrival and check out time is at 11am on the day of your departure. Please call us in advance if you are arriving outside of office hours on either our office number 071 9176721 or our out of office hours mobile number 087 4149189 and inform a member of staff of your expected time of arrival (please arrive before 10pm).
The Benwiskin Centre was an old school, which has been renovated, restored and extended and offers high quality self-catering accommodation as follows:-
Accommodation for up to 26 - suitable for group bookings/workshops/family reunions
2 Double rooms - A double bed and a set of bunk beds (private)
3 Twin rooms - 2 single beds and a set of bunk beds (private)
1 Dormer room - 3 sets of bunk beds (shared)
En-suite facilities in all rooms
All bed linen is provided

The Hostel is located in Balintrillick, North County Sligo, approx 16 miles outside of Sligo Town.
HOW TO GET TO SLIGO:
From Dublin:
Drive North-West on the N4
(Approx. 129M/208km)
From Cork:
Drive North on the N20 to Limerick continue along on the N18 to Galway then take the N17 and N4 into Sligo
(Approx. 205M/328K)
HOW TO GET TO CLIFFONEY:
From Belfast:
Travel West on the M1, then A4 towards Enniskillen, A46 to Belleek. N3 to Ballyshannon. Take the N15 towards Sligo before the village of Cliffoney. (Approx. 1 mile before Cliffoney village you will see Ballintrillick signposted) turn left at this junction.

From Sligo:
North on the N15 through Grange and then through Cliffoney. Travel on past Cliffoney for approx. 1 mile. Take right turn for Ballintrillick (signposted)

HOW TO GET TO BALLINTRILLICK:
When you have come off the Sligo Road and have turned into the Ballintrillick road you need to stay on this main road for approx. 3M/ 4.5km. You will cross over a small bridge. Travel on a little further and you will come to a crossroads. The Benwiskin Centre sign is on your left at this junction. Turn left. The Benwiskin Centre is located less than 1M/1.5km along this road on the right (before the Church).
Nearest train and main bus station is in Sligo Town (Bus stops in Cliffoney).
