The staff was very professional, very helpful, and friendly, young people very worm.
Adam was going one extra mile in making guest feel welcome.
I stayed in the hostel during the time of Christian Orthodox Easter, which is one of the busiest time.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

It is an excellent place to stay. Located right in the old city quite close to Jaffa gate. You will be pleasantly surprised with the structure of this hostel, there's a cave like feel to it. The atmosphere and ambience is excellent and you'll always find fellow travelers to catch up with. Highly recommended to stay here if you visit Jerusalem!

The staff was very professional, very helpful, and friendly, young people very worm.
Adam was going one extra mile in making guest feel welcome.
I stayed in the hostel during the time of Christian Orthodox Easter, which is one of the busiest time.

A wonderful young lady, with the most beautiful eyes I have seen in a very long time ( I am a straight 53 years old woman with 2 daughters myself).

I got a bit discouraged by the previous read reviews. The Hostel is not a 5 star American hotel, but is exactly what is meant to be, an affordable stay, comfortable and cozy in a #1 location inside the Old Jerusalem.

I will definitely stay here again.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Central location (old city, close to Jaffa Gate) but we felt a bit overwhelmed during this stay in the business of the souks of the area. Funny and friendly staff, helpful. The common areas and the dormitories are cosy but tiny and stuffy. Lack of oxygen and aeration in the common areas. We were happy to have our own room with bathroom, although bed sheets and bathroom were dirty. Nice rooftop terrasse.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

It is a nice experience staying here. It is a very different hostel, like no other in the world. It is like living in those past years, in a cave. People are so nice, and it is easy to get around Israel.
I recommend this hostel to anyone who visits Israel.

Loved it. Basic accommodation but location perfect. Stayed 5 nights. Took our own tea and coffee and eat out alott. Had a great breakfast every morning at Christchurch guesthouse just around the corner for £8 (eat all you can) just book at the reception on your way up to the restaurant. The kitchen is basic but free. Came back one evening to find the kettle had been used to cook pasta in..priceless! Spent allot of time on the roof overlooking the old city. Stayed in room 8 en-suite just by the kitchen. Many of the reviewers complain about cleanliness however when we were there the communal bathrooms were being cleaned continually all day. Some of the decor is a little tired but you can overlook that for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful and free computer access in the lobby. Fantastic place to explore Jerusalem from. Will stay there again for sure.

This is a Trusted Review. Why?

Not recommended, we were asked to pay on arrival; went upstairs to the room where the dust was so thick that as the fan spun thick bits flew everywhere. WE left for another hotel.
They refused to refund any portion of the payment
