This is a Trusted Review. Why?

We were not expecting it to be as good as it was: simple to find, within about ten minutes from Tiberias by car, in a wonderful position on the banks of the Kinneret/Sea of Galilee, and very good value for money. The staff were young, enthusiastic and helpful. The tall waiter in the dining room was uncharacteristically (for Israel) very charming and polite.

We had problems with the bed that my wife found to be too firm and unyielding. We spoke to a member of staff who was very helpful and attempted to resolve it for us. However, all we got was another similar mattress on top of the existing one. My wife was more comfortable on the second night so that at least there was some improvement.

There is a restaurant on-site where we had the usual good Israeli breakfast. Dinner was very disappointing. My wife is vegan and there was really nothing for her other than pasta and salad. I had a lamb burger and chicken schnitzel both of which were not good. This was not value for money. We had a far better meal in Tiberias on the following evening and will go back there to eat on the next visit. I strongly suggest to Karei Deshe that they attend to their catering arrangements to accommodate diners who do not eat meat.
