Our hostel is centrally and conveniently located directly on the tram line, with the Melbourne Transit Centre next door and the famous Queen Victoria Market just across the road. Most of Melbourne’s great attractions, sporting venues and restaurants are also within easy walking distance, making our hostel the ideal choice for any length of stay.

The newly renovated hostel proudly features full facilities on each floor, including kitchen, common lounge room, laundry, showers and toilets. We also have a mini theatre with DVD and cable television, free internet, free lockers and 24 hour secure access, and our friendly staff are available to help you with all your tour bookings and local information.

From Melbourne (Tullamarine) Airport:

Star Bus Airport Shuttle takes you directly between Melbourne Airport and Elizabeth Hostel. It operates between 6:00 am and 8:30 pm and costs $13 per person. Telephone: 03 9650 4470.

Another airport shuttle bus is Skybus, operating 24 hours a day for $13 per person.

Taxis are also readily available from the airport. It will cost approximately $35-$40 to our hostel.

From Spencer Street Train Station:

Local and interstate trains and buses run from Spencer St Station. To get to our hostel from there, take an 86 or 96 tram down Bourke St, then change at Elizabeth St to any north bound tram (19, 50, 57, 59, 68). Elizabeth Hostel is located at the Victoria Market tram stop.

From Franklin St Transit Centre:

From Flinders St Train Station:

Take any tram down Elizabeth St to the Victoria Market stop.
