Was a horrid, terrible place. Rooms are extremely small, and in no way represent the pictures viewable on the internet.
No common area to interact with other travellers. No ANYTHING. I would quite happily see my money go into buying a tent and camping under a bridge, shelter or tree somewhere. Least the air wouldn't be stale and smelling of garbage throughout.
Very intimidating, unfriendly, horrid place. First day there, we were counting down the days to leave.
Bondi may be a great place to visit, but staying in this hostel will completely tint your glasses and change your views of the place you came to see.
Word of advice, ask the local drunk if he would be willing to share the park bench. You'd have more creature comforts.
