About La Poseidonia
At only 6km from the airport, in the center of the city, one-roomed apartment 60 sq mt (up to 4 people); two-roomed apartment 30 sq mt (2 people). A really comfortable and modern accommodation really close to Lido di San Giovanni beach.
The shopping area and the famous medieval walled city are really close.
The apartment is located in the wonderful Barcellona�s walk, 50 m. from the sandy beaches of the Riviera del Corallo.
The 4 people apartment has two separate bed rooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk be and one with two single beds, a comfortable kitchen/sitting room and the bathroom.
It�s a really nice apartment for family or group of friends who want to enjoy a relaxing, full of comforts holiday.
The 2 beds apartment has a room with double bed a spacious kitchen/sitting room and a nice bathroom.
Both apartments have a spacious terrace with table and chairs.

It was very confortable, with a lot of space for every person, all the rooms were very big.
It's close to the bus stop to the airport and to a car ret business.
It's also in front of the beach, but this beach is not so good.
My husband and I stayed in the two person apartment and were very pleasantly surprised. The location is perfect, only ten minutes walk from the medieval Old Town and just across the road from the beach.
The beach itself was a bit disappointing. We went just before the main tourist season (early May) and the beach was covered in a thick layer of weed. It was being cleared away by the local council but it wasn't yet suitable for sunbathing. I imagine later in the season it would be fine. However, we walked north along the seafront for about 25 minutes and found a lovely white sandy beach just beyond the hospital - definitely worth the walk!
The apartment was pretty clean, and had an entryphone system so it felt very secure. The balcony has a view of the sea and is large enough for two people to sit outside comfortably. The furnishings are a little worn around the edges but comfortable and functional. There is a 4-ring stove powered by gas bottle - be aware that if it runs out during your stay you will be responsible for ordering a replacement (although not paying for it presumably!). There is no oven, which we only realised after we'd bought some delicious looking pizza from the local supermarket! There is a large fridge and freezer. The owner provides beach towels and a large beach umbrella, which is a nice bonus. The main living room / kitchen is very large and airy, the bedroom is also quite large with a small toilet and shower room. The shower is nice and hot, although the drain does get blocked very quickly (someone has thoughtfully provided a plunger!). There is no air conditioning, but the weather was very hot during our stay and the rooms stayed pretty cool all day.
Overall we were really pleased with the apartment, it was clean, cool and secure, and in an ideal location. We thought it was very good value for money, we would definitely recommend it, and would stay there again.
Top tips for Alghero: visit the Eurospin supermarket near the park - you can pick up a very drinkable bottle of red wine for less than 1 euro!
Also, take a walk along the town walls just before sunset and stop for a cold beer at the Buena Vista Sunset Club - the best spot in Alghero for people watching (particularly on a Sunday) and watching the sun go down.
