The location is perfect. Vittoria who gave us the keys is a very nice and helpfull person.
The apartment itself is rather small. We would not recommend to stay here with more than 2 persons or when you are a very tall person.
Aspecialy the bathroom is tiny and it could do with some fixing up.

About Palau Barca
Good quality self catering apartments accommodation in the heart of the beautiful old town of Alghero in Sardinia.
10 mins drive from Alghero airport, 1 minute walk to the harbour, 10 mins walk to the beach.
Set in the central Via Delitala, the apartments are cosy and comfortable and special care is taken in theirs cleaning.The three apartments have recently been fully restored and are typical of the architecture of Alghero. The apartments are suitable for young people wishing to enjoy the lively night life of Alghero during the High Season and for couples willing to get in touch with the culture and history of Alghero. Each of the apartments has a beams ceiling, and consist of a living room with a double bed and a single sofabed, a dining table, TV, a new kitchen and a big window. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, wash basin and bidet. The apartments are suitable for a maximum of three guests (by prior arrangement).Normally bookings are for a minimum of one week but, on demand, it is possible to book for longer or shorter periods than a week.

The amount does NOT include: a compulsory fee of €50,00 for the final cleaning of the apartment, to be paid in advance at the reservation time; linen , air conditiong, oven, dish washer are also not included. It is possible to rent bed linen at the cost of €2,5 person per day.

The location is perfect. Vittoria who gave us the keys is a very nice and helpfull person.
The apartment itself is rather small. We would not recommend to stay here with more than 2 persons or when you are a very tall person.
Aspecialy the bathroom is tiny and it could do with some fixing up.
As for the other facilities: they are all there, but the television only works sometimes, the microwave-oven, hairdryer etc. all have plugs that dont fit the sockets.
The best thing about the place is that you have a balcony overlooking the old town, so you can have a drink or eat outside.Overall we enjoyed our stay. However we tought that the price asked was just reasonable, but the extra's (towels and sheats 5€/day and the cleaning 45€!) were realy overpriced.
