In the last few years, the concept Home-stay have become popular in Vietnam. It gives a great opportunities to foreign travelers to stay with local people in their own house, to learn about the culture of Vietnamese and to be treated like a family member.
Known as Faifo to early Western traders, from the 17th to 19th centuries Hoian was one of Southeast Asias major international ports. Since the Old Quater of Hoian was listed Culture World Heritage of UNESCO in 1999 . Now, Hoi An has become the highlighted and wonderfull charming destination of any trip in Central Vietnam.
Whenever you talk about Culture of Vietnam, you have to think right away the concept Home-stay in Hoi An in order to explore Vietnamese traditional how is it.
My family, my two boys, my husband and me love to have people all over the world around us and therefore we opened The Loc Phat Hoi An Home-stays. As I have been working for many years in the hotel industry you will not only have the change to live with a real Vietnamese family but get experiences as well a high standard service. Our house is located only 2 km from Hoi An center and 2 km from the wonderful beach, furthermore its a great area to discover the countryside by bicycle. We will be pleased to let you know the real local sights and restaurant.
This is a Trusted Review. Why?
We had a great time at Locphat Homestay. The staff was very friendly and did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room was nicely done up and completely new furnished. The location is good too as it is close to the city center and to the beach (both about 10min. by bike). One little minus: the bikes were not included in the price as we read on the webpage before. But 1USD per day was bearable.
I had the pleasure of meeting Ms Ngoc Linh during my recent stay in Hoi An. Her homestay is a lovely house on the outskirt of Hoi An, a perfect distance between the beach and the old quarter. Unfortunately, it was fully occupied with other guests so I wasn't able to stay there, but Ms Linh brought me to her sister's home nearby, located next to gorgeous rice padi scenery. A small house with a room on the second floor that has an attached bathroom and a good size, comfortable bed. It has two windows so plenty of fresh air. Very clean, completely relaxing and lots of privacy. There's a small kitchen on the first floor where you can prepare your own meal if you like. Ms Linh's sister and brother-in-law are nothing less than amazing. Very caring, charming and helpful. They will take care of anything you need, without a doubt. Often I would come back to my room and find a plate of fruits by my bed or they would come knocking on the door with local dishes for me to try. I certainly would not have enjoyed Hoi An as much as I did if I didn't stay with them. Truly a blessing. And even if you stay at her sister's place, Ms Linh will be checking up on you and taking care of anything you need. A lively, intelligent, and beautiful lady to care of you..what else could you ask for?? Thanks, Linh and your family for such a great experience!
