The 'Il Quinto Moro' Bed and Breakfast is located in Arbus, a small town in south-western Sardinia which is close to Ingurtosu, Montevecchio and other popular places on the Costa Verde such as the Torre dei Corsari, Pistis, Piscinas and Capo Pecora... a spectacular coastline of tall cliffs and rocks, but also of long beaches with fine sand and 60 metre high dunes.
The inland area, which is characterized by wild mountains populated by deer and wild boar, is a popular place for trekking and climbing.
The whole area is particularly rich with important reminders of its industrial development and the mining industry that produced architectural, historical, environmental and technical-scientific points of great interest: "ghost towns", abandoned buildings and equipment, tunnels and wells excavated around the end of the 1700's thanks to the exploitation of the iron, lead and zinc mines which can still be visited today; presenting a different way to discover the area and to get close to its rich cultural and eno-gastronomic traditions.
