Bellevue da Urca is our new Guest House in Rio de Janeiro located at Urca district – 5 minutes away walking to Sugar Loaf and views to Christ the statue and Botafogo Bay. The penthouse has double and shared rooms. Also a rooftop with a small swimming pool and a very nice area to get a tan and chill out.

Attention: Payment at the guesthouse is only made in cash.

Directions (how to arrive) : We offer a pick-up service from the international airport (GIG) for 75.00 BRL.

You can also take the airport special bus (2018) and get off at Av. Lauro Sodré (close to Rio Sul Shopping Center – you can advise the driver you want to get off at Rio Sul). This bus cost 9.00 BRL per person and has enough space for your luggage. From there you take a taxi that will cost no more than 10.00 BRL to the front of our place.

From the national airport (SDU) a taxi might cost no more than 40.00 BRL (meter on). However there are a lot of taxi drivers that try to fix a price. Try to get taxis that someone is getting off in front of the airport instead of the ones waiting there.

From the Bus Station : A taxi with the meter on would could about 35.00 BRL and fixed price probably 45.00 BRL. By bus you’d have to take at least two to get to Urca, we don’t recommend however you can also take the airport special bus and follow the steps written “from GIG”.
